Tax Rebate is not applicable on- Purchase of Laptop and Desktop:
For the reason it may not be able to take Tax Rebate on Laptop and Desktop purchase from this year (Income Year 2018-19 and relevant Assessment Year 2019-2020) and it may increase our individual tax Liabilities @15%.
In this regard we have option for Tax Rebate to invest on-
(i.) Govt. Shonchoy Porter/Bond (Bangladesh Government Treasury Bond or NBR Approved any bond or Securities), (ii) Listed company Share or Stock or Debenture or Debenture stocks (any company approved by Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission-BSEC) (iii) Unit certificates and Mutual fund certificates issued by any financial institution or the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) and its subsidiaries; (iv) DPS (Yearly upto Tk. 60,000) (v) Life Insurance Policy (10% of Policy Value) (vi) Donation to any NBR approved institution ( Zakat Fund, Aga Khan Development Network, National level institutions on liberation war and memory of Father of the Nation), (v) Donation to Prime Minister’s identified fund with in 30.06.2020 those who want to take Tax Rebate on your Tax liabilities for the Income Year 01 July 2019 to 30 June 2020. If any change happen we may update accordingly.
